About a week ago and before our first batch of rain we received in almost 4 months….the coastal tidal fisheries had become very low and unpredictable. It was just about then that John Webb told me he had an impromptu trip for chinook with pro guide and AAA sponsor, Chad Lynch, of Chad Lynch Guide Service. Jumping on the chance and even with this particular river running less than 25th percentile of normal flow….Webb and Chad ‘Reaper’ Hardy ran down to meet Lynch for a day of nook angling. Even with the odds stacked against them and very few fish caught overall and across the board the three of them, The Lynch Mob, managed to pick up this spinner troll-caught beauty. Here’s a little video the Hippie Kicker put together of their success. If you’re over on FB (about 15% of our viewing audience) this might be old news. Still fun to see again none-the-less.
