Look hard enough and who knows…..

Over one hundred and twenty miles from home…..during a deluge of sideways rain….crossing bridge after bridge of rivers and streams running full of brown, chalky waters….Steve ‘The Traveler’ Lynch along with his beloved wife, Sveta, steadily cruised along looking for somewhere to swing his pink Blue Fox spinner. He goes to that spinner in all conditions. Like a cop to his Glock it truly is his weapon of choice. Steelhead, salmon, winter or summer…you can find The Traveler with that spinner hanging off his rod. In what he described to me as ‘a small section of clear water’ sliced in between the torrent brown water on a brand new river he had never fished (on his way to harvest butter and razor clams) Steve indeed found a biter. Truly amazing. This is why we call him the Traveler. Steve has shared much of his newly found waters with his friends and fellow All Around Anglers. Unselfishly. Bravo to you, Traveler. Proud to know you. And oh yeah….the clams you dropped by yesterday were delectable.

That rocks. I went clamming for the first time this year. It was a night time tide and pitch black. Thank god for lanterns. We got our limits. Razors are soooo good. Nice job on finding a fish.
