Nick The Skip Ross has flat out been laying it down this season. Here he is going on plunk and still digging up steelhead. Maybe we should call him the Metal Detector…if he didn’t already have a handle that is.

Chris,

Here is a Big River limit from yesterday’s solo plunking trip. Can’t seem to keep the steelhead away. The first fish came on my standby color this time of year, I have come to call it “Mean Joe Green” (and there’s a) good story behind the name actually:

It’s the picture with the custom lure is its mouth (below). Those lures also have a long story behind them as well as they are fish-catching machines I tell ya! The performance is amazing compared to spin-glos with lots of added features such as wings for sound, contrasted color schemes (which has made a huge difference) and added UV (also a huge difference).

The last but not least addition are the small spinner blades. The blades do not spin (like on a spinner) rather they just flutter in the water creating flash. An amazing product that I and one other angler have perfected.

I need to get you out on a plunking trip to show you this innovative product. My second fish came on the same lure as the first. I also had three other strikes that ripped off my bait.

My lures outperformed spin-glos yet again……10 rods on the beach yesterday, 8 strikes…five of which came on my rod. One on my buddys fishing my lures……which left only two for the traditional methods among all the other rods..

Anyway thanks for the support, Chris! Tight lines!

Kicking a__ and taking names. The results are a pretty good testament to your spinner set up. Sal
