    That’s a great tip.. Thank you for including the bank guys.. I could have used that this last weekend. How do you handle seeing fish role in back water/slow water going up river?

    Great question Les. That’s tough. Unless the fish are laying the just the right spot and your depth isn’t changing often then you can try to catch the seam of the current right before it enters the eddy. Float it around but not through the eddy. That would be my first take.

    Not sure where to post this… I’ve heard they are dying the hatchery fish.. Is this true for all fish, or just an area? How are we to quickly and positively ID nates to get them back into the water? I mean if we’re looking for a spot on a fish that just rolled around in the dirt or sand. Then how can we defend ourselves with fish n game if they clean it off and there isn’t a spot?
