Steelhead on a swung fly for the Nookslayer….

One of my longest living friends smashed a couple fish south of us on Saturday with their two handed rods. When I asked him for a little description on the day for my ‘words from the angler’ section……he simply said the following: “You tell those snag hags this is how it’s done.”. Okay okay, I get it. Not all big game fly guys snag their catches. HA! Great work.

The man with the fish is Scott Plemmons aka AGENT ORANGE. You will seldom see him with out the color orange on. I also call him “Costco” as he has an entire fly shop on his back when we fish. I can’t complain though as I haven’t had to tie a fly in years…
Unfortunalty I didn’t get mine to hand but it was still a rush on the swing/skate. Perfect water and close to home.
