A great new egg cure

A lot of all around anglers will find something that works and stick with it. Others will always be trying new things in order to maximize their efforts. The more you know. That said…I have a little unknown here to share with you…which means after this post it won’t be an unknown anymore.

I’m sharing it with you today not because I was paid to do it…or because the company gave me free cure. Neither of which is the case. Allaroundangler.com is about being real and true to this river game we’re in. It’s about sharing with your fishing partners and living life to the fullest every day you make it out there. I only talk about things that I use myself.

Although there are some things I’ve never shared there are plenty of good things I have shared. Many of you with TeamSalmon/2010 have taught me lots of new things as well. I’ve learned more in the last 15 months than any combined time in my angling carreer. Here’ me giving a little back. This cure is what I used for my Kodiak roe every single day that The Brick, myself and Sal brought chromers home to Auntie’s pad.

I made 5 casts with this bait at the coast with T$, MME, Pablo & Blaze…..hooked two fresh kings and landed a great hen. I prefer the borax solution but they offer a sodium sulfite version. You can tell by the label. If the label is black and says ‘Deadly’ on it then you’re looking at the borax base.

The dyes used in this cure do not permanently stain hands or clothing. You can achieve a full cure in one day, amazingly, although I always cure longer than that. This cure works well for both salmon and steelhead. It’s available in a few different colors and shades of red and runs pretty competitive on the price. In a world of a million different cures it’s rare to find a new good one. Float-Hi.
