**NAVIGATING THE AAA WEBSITE~A CLICK-TORIAL
January 18th, 2009
I’ve had several people mention some difficulty with using all the features available within this AAA website. I thought it might be a good idea to put up some directions for new visitors to Allaroundangler. There are some simple tips I can give you that will ensure you thoroughly enjoy your visit to my website. Thanks for coming on by, and please keep reading if you have any questions about how to get around.
MAIN PAGE
THIS IS WHAT THE MAIN PAGE LOOKS LIKE. THE MAIN PAGE IS A ROLLING BLOG OF POSTED EVENTS, PICTURES, VIDEOS, COMMENTS, FISH REPORTS…AND SO ON. THE MAIN PAGE WILL ALWAYS SCROLL THE MOST RECENT ACTIVITY FROM THE TOP DOWN….EVENTUALLY ARCHIVING OLDER POSTS AND DATA WHICH CAN BE ACCESSED BY EITHER CLICKING ‘PREVIOUS ENTRIES’ AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE….OR….BY SEARCHING ARCHIVED POSTS VIA THE CALENDAR OR MONTH FUNCTION. SEE PICS BELOW FOR DESCRIPTIONS AND DEFINITIONS:

This is the page you see when you type allaroundangler.com into your address bar…..You’ll notice the main text is centered…but to the immediate left there are “Pages” listed 1 through 11. You may access those pages at any time by simply clicking on them.

Again….this is just a slightly scrolled down screen print which shows you the calendar option to your left…..simply hover your mouse over the calendar during the month and year you wish to browse (18 months is saved) and look for days with data. You’ll be able to tell if there is data by your mouse changing from an ‘arrow’ to a ‘hand’…this indicates there is one or more posts on that date. Click and view.

This is the option to the calendar….clicking on an ‘archived month’ to view the data…again, all of this data is available through browsing the links on the left hand side of the rolling main page…..

By scrolling down to the very bottom of the main page….you can always click ‘previous entries’ to go backwards page by page.
In addition to the resources within the site itself….I’ve also added a ‘blogroll’ which is a series of friendly links to resources you will need….(also available to the left of the main page)…not only will you be able to get river level and weather info, tide tables and more….you can also link directly to over 70 videos and 700 pictures.
