Stalking the Steel

Stalking steelhead is a learned skill…stealth tactics prove successful

You never really know where your best teachers will come from. One of my most humble mentors has been someone 13 years my junior. Keep in mind, we are nothing more than a compiliation of our own experiences. Think about that for a second. That being said, I though this would be a perfect opportunity to explore the summer steelhead tactics that relay the fruits of labor most frequently: The steath move.

Those of you who frequent this website are not new to low profile tactics on our local steelhead tributaries. “The Brick” should not be a name you are just now reading about. Simply enter “The Brick” into the Allaroundangler search engine to see the compiliation of a humble trib-killer……..Brennan Ingram.

I’ve learned a lot from this contributor. Lessons on a river bank can come at any time. Stay tuned.
