Whistlin’ JIM and Bear were out at it today again……with some fruit to show for labor. Congrats to JIM for his first Allaroundangler.com appearance. Send us more, buddy. Cheers and tips. h3l

Whistlin’ JIM
Well I got out this morning without a bite in the limited time I had to be on the water. I met JIM down on river x and he hopped into the tailout and nailed this 30″ beauty. She was blushed and fighting mad. She got him down in the fast stuff but pulled her out. I got in there with the assist and tail grabbed her for him. At least I got to see a winter hatch on the beach today. Will drag myself down in the morning to attempt it again. Bear
The cold season

My friend Kevin Hunting….aka Big Bear…..has been going after it lately. Along with everything else going on this time of year…he’s been rapping on the front door of the Steelhead residence trying to find out if anyone is home. He’s fishing solo most of the time so he can’t do a whole lot with media until he lands a fish. This being said the two fish he hooked on this cold day before yesterday were not captured in all their acrobatic glory. Even still, Kevin finds time to take some shots of his trips because he understands you all are here to see more than just fish pics. Let’s be honest…even a Professional baskeball player doesn’t make all their freethrows. Neither do we, steelhead fishermen and women (in case LeAnn Norman is reading), land steelhead every trip out. I’ll be danged if Bear doesn’t go after it though. Thanks for the great pics my man. Tell us about the half dozen jumps you mentioned to me on the phone if you want. Pink worm right? Sounded rad…..h3l
Oops….I made a mistake when I said he was fishing alone! “Look! It’s a Bear-pup”
team freaking salmon for goodness sakes.
