Leave it to H2O

Dear TS and TS Groupies alike,
We all must leave it to H2O to find a nickel bright steelhead in a river full of coho….so much so that this river has laced up a six fish limit. As I said: Leave it to H to find metal in a land of ‘Hos.
NOT TO MENTION!! His day was all but over because he had snapped one of his favorite drift rods earlier in the day. Instead of hanging it up he fished his spinning rod out of the bed of his rig. He quickly inspected it and found a wiggle wart attached. Hmmmm.
What do you think H2O did? That’s right. He fished the plug (I can’t remember the color): Reeling backwards down the top end of a tidally influenced section of river divided by a sandy finger right down the middle…..the current had switched on him so he began to back reel down the run.
Hardly enough current for much…but as he would find out….his run was about to dry up. Literally. Not before he banged this nickel bright metal cabeza though. FIRST CAST.
