Story of a lifetime….

September 11th, 2009

Special thanks to a viewer of Allaroundangler in Washington DC to send this our way! A good friend of mine as well. Thanks Ian!

This really is a special story…..

What would you have done? Kept it or released it?…(provided you had pics and vids for the reproduction you would most certainly have made)

I’m curious to see what the response will be….never the less, what a gargantuan of a trout. Like the Greg Oden of trout or something.

The MassMan & Captain Professor Fishtat the H3llcat-Ages 17 & 16

As seen above, a truly ‘classic’ photo of myself and the MassMan…..representing Florence Oregon Bass fishing. In the spirit of the lifetimes of fishing we all have created…..I am creating a “Classics” page for just that….Classics. I’m sure you all have pics to submit. No fish is too big or small and no pic is too goofy or old. Only have a print? Snail mail it to me or scan it and email it to me. Easy.

Well the water greened up and as they say the suns gotta shine on a bears butt some day. Picked up a nice female on the bobber in the hole we met at. So the drought is over and I am looking forward to some hot fishing and tight lines. With the rain departed it was a gorgeous day out, not a car in the lot so I had the stretch of river to myself. Right as my bobber passed below me in the rock garden she nailed it. I had been there 5 minutes so it was a short day, but a productive one. I will definitely be back after work since it will blow out again this week just in time for the weekend.
