‘Walter’ Lives…but not on golden pond..

That’s right. Eat your heart out, Henry Fonda. Walter lives in a river right here in the Pacific NW. I found him. Check it out.
Again, I can’t thank these two guys enough for making this a memory, that even in my hopeful old age, I will certain never forget….Can you believe this fish jumped seven times??!! Unreal. In the first part of the video you can the last two jumps as the fish fires it’s jet engines and heads for safety. Helped, of course, by it’s piggy demeanor, it proceeds to give me and the Joes all we can take.
Wanna see this beautiful fish, I am so grateful for, tear me a new one on a ‘River Runs Through It’ kind of fight and chase?

rigor has set in on this fish by the time I took this photo as it was bled out….. and this fish is curved upwards as I laid it on grass…in this picture, the fish’s head is a good 8 to 10 inches off the ground….to bring the size into perspective…almost 36 inches in length
