By Chris Heller….then and now….

We are always growing, learning and unfortunately growing older. Just as all things and people change, so should the things they love. When I started Allaroundangler.com a few years ago, I imagined so many things going on within this product. Where we are at now is great and I’m proud of all of you who contribute. The rolling blog is a lot of fun and keeps us up to date on what people are doing out there on the rivers, etc. People have been able to keep in touch through the site and that’s been excellent as well.
As far as the site RESOURCES, I hope you all are using them, because that’s why they’re here for you. You need to find fishing related weather, water, fresh or salt information…..we have it for you. You would like to JOIN CCA….you can easily join through this site. It’s all here for us and I’m proud of all the work we’ve put into it. Guide or lodging information…..recipes or articles from places out of state and other fisheries…..all here.
Entertainment features include over 65 videos, over 700 pictures (you can view as a slide show through the link to Flicker) as well as other tid bits. I would like to see more out of area contributing, and am looking for people who want to commit to providing content from their area(s).
This being said, I plan on using the site for more than just a ‘fishing report’ barometer. It’s time I tried to turn this site into more on an on line magazine. It’s important to me to keep adding content, but not only current reports. There are so many experiences that made each of us the fishermen we are….people who are learning how to fish….or how to fish a new method can benefit from such formats.
In the spirit of driving new viewers to AAA, I really think things can be learned, shared and people entertained through stories, anecdotes, tips, tutorials AS WELL as current reports. I hope those of you that enjoy to write and frequently contribute on the site would imagine a few articles or stories of your own you’d like to share. I’ll do all the proofreading, as usual. No one will know who can spell and who can’t. Lol. Perhaps if you’d like to share something regular (Meskel: Your tying series you have toyed with doing…) that can be arranged as well.
Thanks for taking a moment to check this out and stay tuned for some stories and adventures from my past that I intend to post along with some AMAZING old photos to accompany the stories. Big Tone, thanks for coming back around. Let’s fish.
An Angler with Allaround vision…..May 2009 bring each of you peace, happiness, love and big friggin fish too.
