How Fishing SHOULD Be:

October 11th, 2008

I’m just going to let this picture collage speak for itself. This is LipRipper, Double D, H2O and I.

8 fish to the boat with twelve hooked, as well as A DOUBLE with both fish landed. All praise the Salmonids. A combination of Big hatchery and native Silvers and red hot chrome Chinook….yes….that’s middle of October…red, hot, chrome Chinook, as well.

I will just say as someone who has caught large, chrome Silvers in Alaska….today was par to any of my great days up there. These fish were unreal. Just huge. I don’t think one Silver was under 14…I mean a legitimate “fourteen”. Fights were laced with hoots, hollers and high fives.
