After Work Tonight Bank Coho Run To Property

October 6th, 2008

In the spirit of Gavin, as he lives on within all of us, his fishing partners….and in the spirit of Silvers……(and with all those acrobatics, they do have spirit)…..LR and I are visiting the property after work to see if we can intercept some Silvers bullets. It should be perfect timing.

First time since 2005 we might have them held up in that stretch of ‘freeway water’. We’ll see. Anyone else want in? We’ll peel today (Tuesday) about 2. Anyone who wants to go can meet LR and I at the Chevron at the 211 junction no later than 3pm. Cheers.

Prepping for CHINOOK (Coho and winter Steel)

October 6th, 2008

So the season is almost upon us and for those of us who choose the fly rod as our weapon it is time to properly stock our ammunition.  I am thinking about getting some of us together to tie some deadly patterns to swing, drift and skate in front of the elusive winter steel.  Please let me know who would like to attend and we can plan it.

Here’s to a productive winter season!
