H20 successfully spawns

Well I got the call at 1:30 am sunday morning that Tonia was going to have the baby 2 weeks early in newport, Where she was on a weekend trip with her mom and cousins.
So I packed a bag for Daphne, the dog and myself in a complete panic, dropped off Daphne at my brother in laws, the dog at Big Jims, filled the tank and headed to Newport.
That was the longest 2 in a half hour drive ever! I made it to the hospital at 4:30 and my son Wayland was borne at 4:52. had I drove any less than 85 the hole way I don’t think I would have made it.
Wayland Wright Thomas weighed 5 lbs 10 ounces and was 18.5 inches long. just a little guy, but I don’t think that is going to stop him from being over six feet tall. Pictures will come soon.
