Salmon on a 3wt!!!!!

That is RIGHT! I got out on the homestead river the night before last for a little wet wading armed with a toothpick and a beer in each back pocket. After a few cast i thought it odd that there wernt any risers in the usual spot till BAM (Emeril Lagasse style) A good sized Salmon exploded on my size 16 Parachute Adams.
I had this fish on for less time then it has taken you to read up to this point but that is to be expected with a fish this size on 2&1/2 lbs tippet and a 3 WT.
Good to see this native in the river. As i continued to fish the slot it took two more bugs off the surface. Just not mine.
