HELLCAT BUSTS OUT THE FLY ROD!

After talking to H2O about his friend Brents’ escapades the day prior, I decided to pull a solo run on some Steelhead. Even more than that though, I was excited to run a couple of my new 1/16th ounce, Matt Reid Marabou Jig Specials. I fished them on my eight weight, under a yarnie indicator. I dead drifted them with and without lead, picking up a fish each way. One fish taken on a pink scud-colored flashabou fly/jig, the other taken on an orange with dark red. The bigger fish came on the weighted hook-up. I saw several other dudes out today, but no other fish hooked that I or the ODFW dude knew of.
