H3LLCAT & B DOG GET THEIR ‘BEND ON’

April has settled in, and that means chasing Spring Chinook. Two days in a row, B Dog and myself searched high and low. Fully Geared with anything you could imagine, we were able to successfully hook one Spring King ( B Dog) and hook and land a gorgeous Mint Bright Winter Hen. She ate a WHOLE threaded sand shrimp that I had flipped into some soft water along a seam with very light lead. She really inhaled that thing so we had to act quickly and with light hands. We slid her out of the net after B Dog’s killer scoop over a ledge as quickly as we could, snapped a quick photo, and, luckily, she promptly exited.
