SPRING CHINOOK, SUMMER STEELHEAD & BIG SUCKERS

April 27th, 2007

Four fish hooked in the last week for B Dog Lobey and myself.  Two Springers, 1 Summer and 1 Winter.  Two of the fish were taken on small ‘glo bug’ or yarnie-type rigs, both tied with a long leader for enticing new Summers with a ’swung’ presentation.  The other two were hooked on the Hellcat deadly pink worm rig, fished fixed, under a bobber.  I managed to wrile up one Springer and one Steelhead after everything else, no matter how small or what color, seemed to fail.  Oh, and I forgot to mention, an honorable mention, in fact, for our friend the Suckerfish. Don’t ask.  Just watch the video.  Language not appropriate for children under twelve.  Or whatever.
