Deschutes winter fly fishing

Posted: March 12, 2019 by Hellcat in Fish Reports

I just got back from an amazing two day trip on the Deshutes River with two of my oldest and best friends. It was a time portal to the past and I couldn’t have enjoyed myself more.

Everything was covered with a deep layer of snow but the sun finally poked it’s head out at the end. The fishing was literally epic and we hooked over 20 fish.

Here are some amazing pics from our trip until I can get a nice little video or photo show done. Special thanks to Shawn Richey and Brandon and Lobey for this amazing time. It was exactly what we all needed.

Cooned them in the snow. Good for you guys getting out and having a great time. I bet you didn’t have an issue with too many people?
