….Sal Monid is Dave Heller….my pops. He is both a content contributor and a commercial sponsor as he runs a watershed management company specializing in restoration protection of fish habitat and water quality called DA Heller Consulting.
He has numerous well known domestic accomplishments as well as having traveled the globe to assist such foreign governments as Canada, Mexico and Russia in their efforts to improve their stream and river habitat while various urban and rural road systems are implemented and improved to allow successful anadramous salmon and steelhead returns.
With all he has done for me and for this AAA effort over the past six years I’m always very proud when I can showcase his recreational successes. You’ll be seeing a movie of his recent trip to the Yucatan Peninsula with Mark Potyrala, his long time friend from BC, very soon.
For now….A springer limit for Sal is featured when no one else could make it happen. Oh yeah…he handed one of the fish off to his friend who was visiting for the trip, Mark Hudy. Congrats to them both.
