I would like to thank everyone out there who has told a friend, co-worker or family member about All Around Angler.com. It’s starting to pay off in the form of new viewers participating in record numbers. I recently fished the Oregon Coast with Big Burge and Sturdy Kirby Cannon of PDXSALMONJUNKIE.com….and while doing so I jumped into a couple boat launch areas with a handfull of AAA magnets and stuck them on some rigs. One of those rigs belonged to David Solberg who was out fishing steelhead for the day with his friend, Mark Donner. They had an epic day and were kind enough to share some pics and a bit about their beat down. CRH

Words from the angler….

“My name is David Solberg and you haven’t seen many pix from me because my work schedule has been pretty busy this season. That and the fact that I am still on the learning curve for catching these steelhead, you may remember the picture that I sent in last winter of the 17 pounder that was only my second steelhead ever. Well to say that today was a phenomenal day on the river would not do it justice, what a day! Can only imagine how many more days like that are to come.

Any how, I have had the pleasure of checking out the website for the great information that is right there for everyone to see. And for that I thank you. Had an AAA magnet on the side of the truck today also, so keep up the good work.

The choice of the day was a shiny orange corky with about half an inch of red yarn in the eggloop. It was a long morning untill about 10 and then it went nuts. Ended up with my 2 fish in 3 casts, I was totally stoked. We ended up going 4 for 11 on the day, man if that doesnt do it for you than get your pulse checked.”
