My man Kevin Hart and I go way, way back. I would say we met around 1992 or 1993.

The roots of our history involve other AllAroundAnglers from that time frame such as The Fishing Magician, Big Tone and even DD. We’re all from that same old school that learned this game from guys like Eric Linde, Mark Yano, Mark Akerill and many, many more local legends.

SOOOO I always get really excited when, what I like to call ‘Legacy TeamSalmon’ members drop their successes on me to share on the site. I respect and appreciate friends that stick around a long time. That’s one of the things that makes life worth living.

Here’s another thing that makes life worth living: Kevin’s buddy Andy laying the wood to a February spring chinook. This fish was caught on herring, today. Too bad for these guys the tournament hasn’t started yet. That would’ve been a nice start. Thanks for sharing the fruits of your labor, guys. Great job.

How about that, the first Allaroundangler, herring caught springer of 2012. Way to go Kevin and Andy! A great start to what is going to be an outstanding spring chinook season. I couldn’t believe my eyes this morning when I saw the picture you sent me. It gave us a little hope while we were out there, but it just never happened for us. Nice job guys! Let the games begin!
